Safe Voltage for 6800k
Safe Voltage for 6800k
I can only maintain the 6800k stable at 4.4GHZ with 1.35 volts. At 4.3GHZ and 1.27 volts I’ve been testing, it seems safe. With a good watercooling setup like the Swiftech H240x2, you should be fine. For your long-term use—about a year and a half to two years—I’d consider keeping it at 4.3GHZ at 1.27 volts. This way it stays functional for other builds too.
Is it safe to run a 6800k at 1.35 volts with your watercooling setup? I'm considering clocking back to 4.3ghz at 1.27 volts. For my setup, 1.35 is considered high for daily use, so I'd recommend going with 4.3 at 1.27v.
