Hey Guys,
Just checking in – I’m running my 6600k at 4.5Ghz stable with a voltage of 1.355ghz on an H100i watercooled system. Temperatures using Aida 64 for 24 hours reached a peak of 63 degrees.
I haven’t tried pushing it further or lowering the voltage yet.
Is it okay to keep the voltage fixed at 1.355? I’m not sure if that’s safe.
I’m using an MSI M5 Gaming Motherboard and can’t find a setting to let the voltage drop when idle. Apparently, MSI doesn’t have this feature, but I’ve read about offset voltages.
Could someone advise me on how to enable that option in MSI Bios?
If static voltage really helps keep the chip running for at least 2-3 years, I’m all set.
Thanks a lot!

I think you're referring to the automatic voltage you mentioned?
