Safe removal of the Dell 2 in 1 adapter and nonpowered Sabrent USB 4 port hub.
I'm using a Dell XPS 15 9520 with this USB-C adapter. It came with a hub for connecting one USB port and HDMI. I'm linking a non-powered Sabrent 4-port hub to provide four USB ports. I can also use the HDMI connection for the monitor. https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Type-C-Type-...B08YW13SG3 When I reach the bottom-right corner of my Windows laptop and click the eject button, it displays "Eject Dell DA20 Adapter 1." Should I always eject first before removing the adapter, or is there another safe method? The alternative would be to power off the laptop and then unplug the hub. Regarding the second question, if you connect a non-powered Sabrent 4-port hub to a USB-A port on a laptop—especially since your XPS has USB-A ports—I don’t need to eject anything before removing it. Would it work the same as plugging it into an older Dell XPS with USB-A ports?
