I checked the readings from MSI Kombustor on my i7 4790k after overclocking for roughly ten minutes. The data shows what I expect. No major concerns here.

It might appear slightly unstable or just a minor glitch. If it looks stable, I wouldn't be too concerned.

In the mid-eighties, things were at their peak. Those temperatures were fine, but I wouldn't push it much further. Maybe lowering the voltage a bit could help.

Robert Cook:
Mid eighties are the best I'd go for. Those temps are fine, but I wouldn't OC anymore now. Maybe lower the voltage a bit.
I also have an issue—after OC'ing to 4.6GHz, under load it shows up as 5.25GHz in the task manager.

It might appear a bit shaky or there could be a small issue. If it looks steady, I wouldn't be too concerned.

Hmm, it might be a bit unstable or just a glitch. If it looks stable, I won't worry too much.
No BSODs during the overclock phase, and I think it could be the turbo boost or just a glitch. Anyway, thanks for the help!
