Hey Guys
Curious about the limits of this i5. Any advice would be really helpful. I plan to use Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and want to extract as much performance as possible safely. Thanks!

On that CPU 4.5~4.8Ghz is achievable. Just ensure your voltage stays under 1.35v and doesn't exceed 1.4v. You'll likely need a superior cooler than the standard one. Maybe a cryorig H7 or better would work.

With the stock cooler, you might achieve around 4.1Ghz, but you should keep an eye on temperatures. There are videos showing how to swap out the heatsink for the H7 if you're interested.

I maintain a strong and pleasant 4.2 rating on my 4690k and Z97 Extreme4 using the Cryorig H7. Switching to a cooler rated H7 or higher would bring the score to a solid 4.5-4.7. Going beyond that could be problematic.
