Hi, today I achieved a stable overclock of 4.5 ghz with a voltage of 1.275, using the Corsair H100i Gtx cooler. Temperatures usually stay around 65°C. I'm wondering if this kind of OC is safe for long-term use on this processor, especially since I've invested in it and won't replace it soon. Could I expect to maintain this setup for two years or more?

Hello, your question about overclocking an I7 6700k is clear. I recently achieved a stable speed of 4.5 ghz with a voltage of 1.275, using the Corsair H100i Gtx cooler, and temperatures remain around 65°C most of the time. I’m curious if this level of overclocking is sustainable for long-term use, especially since I’ve already invested in this processor and won’t be replacing it soon. Would I be able to maintain this configuration for two years or more?

65C is perfectly fine. Temperatures under 90C are suitable for CPUs as well.
