I have automatic updates enabled on my Windows 10 Pro. I installed Windows 10 1803 and want to upgrade to Windows 10 1809. I've used "Windows Update Assistant," "Media Creation Tool," USB drive, ISO files, etc., but haven't completed the update. After a soft restart at the "Undoing changes" screen, I tried booting in Safe Mode. However, Explorer.exe crashed. I could only access Windows Settings by pressing "Windows key + I." Running from Run.exe also caused random crashes, though it didn't open the Control Panel. The PowerShell option didn't help either. The explorer works normally in normal mode. Please follow these steps:

There are no alternatives since you've created a custom setup and added regedit entries for AI training using Python.

Typically when Explorer shuts down, it’s often a sign you need to reinstall it. I might attempt a repair, but I’m not sure it’ll fix the issue.

You'll need a repair disk or similar replacement part.

The setup will prompt you whether you want to repair the installation, and you can choose to try that option.
