It could be related to the game itself. I experience around 150fps in Metro Exodus with full settings, while only 58-60fps in the original Metro game. I’m sure a Metro Exodus is significantly more resource-intensive at maximum settings with an RTX graphics card than the first game.
I don't think it impacts me, but please follow them in the order they were released if you're okay with in-person battles.
I don’t believe it’s very bothersome in this game. The only issue is that the good ending in Metro 2033 doesn’t occur, and the bad ending in Last Light doesn’t happen or Idek doesn’t play a role. Don’t stress over good or bad outcomes—they’re just small differences that are hard to find unless you search. I haven’t completed Exodus yet, but that applies to 2033 and Last Light too. The more you explore, the more you’ll appreciate the games.
I just ran the game again and got an average of 165 in the gameplay. I wasn’t able to capture a screenshot. Here’s the benchmark at the highest resolution, 1440p, using an FTW3 Ultra—though it’s not overclocked.
It's a straightforward sequence. The main issue is the first game offers a decision on how the story ends, while the second one follows a set path. The narratives all center around Artyom navigating the Metro in search of a better future.
