Activating TPM immediately won't make a difference. Focus on TPM after Windows 11 is available. Right now, it's just speculation about how things might change when switching CPU or MBOO once Win11 is installed.

TPM influences only components reliant on it, currently mainly encrypted drives. Without it, expected effects are minimal—hard to pinpoint dependencies others might have. Updating BIOS or altering the CPU often triggers prompts to reinitialize TPM, which could be frustrating.
