Hey everyone, I have a few questions about streaming my games on Twitch (or another platform). I’m trying to figure out what’s important before I start. I’ve been searching online and found that many people suggest using a capture card, like AverMedia Live Gamer HD. Is this really necessary? Also, what other things should I keep in mind if I decide to go live? I’m planning to stream CS:GO games, either solo or with friends. I don’t aim to become a professional streamer—my main job is full-time, and my current ranking is silver elite master. I’m not sure if having a strong ranking is essential for others to follow me. Thanks for your help!
I entered my system into the profile. Is there a method to display it as a signature, or must I start over with one? I was considering using OBS since I had a negative experience with XPLITTED earlier. While researching further, many suggested using a capture card for streaming.
You have solid equipment for basic 720p streaming. For higher quality, try OBS, Quicksync, and Shadowplay. OBS should take the lead, while Shadowplay handles recording and encoding. Your CPU should easily manage everything on its own.
