Preparation: Installed Ryzen 5 1600 stock atm Aorus AX370 Gaming K5 F40 BIOS version Patriot Viper Blackout 3000 3000MHz. Just added new RAM, it set to default 21.33 during boot. Returned to BIOS couldn't adjust frequency—only XMP profile available. It switched to 3000MHz but froze. Uncertain if CPU IMC supports 2667 or if RAM is the issue. Using Aorus EasyOC to reach 26.66 multiplier since BIOS won't allow it. Need advice on possible causes? Am uncertain if it's CPU limit or RAM problem. CPU-Z shows modules at 21.33, I followed SPD Read and found it matches advertised 3000. Keeping stable at 26.66 via software overclock, but can't change BIOS settings. Any suggestions?
