I heard you mentioned the Deco setup before, but I focused on the system only. I thought they might be able to link devices in a chain—like satellite B connecting to A, which connects to the master—though satellite B wouldn’t be linked directly to the master.

They are capable of it. He talked about the slower speed because of the additional hops. I’m sure the Google devices handle this too. My sister uses Google WiFi and she can too. Just remember that chaining them in this way will reduce performance. The farthest unit from her has roughly 30 Mbps on a 600 Mbps connection. The main point I observed about the Deco units is they behave quite similarly to Google products—limited configuration choices.

I chose the Deco system (3 X60 units) and it’s performing flawlessly. It’s a solid pick for anyone skimming this. As Donut mentioned, it’s quite limited in customization, but I actually like that simplicity. I’m a bit older and always exhausted from tweaking settings, so I favor straightforward solutions. If you need flexibility, this might not suit you.
