You have a mix of storage devices and are exploring different operating systems. To manage access between Ubuntu, OS X, and various partitions, consider setting up separate partitions or using a file system that supports multiple OSes. You can assign specific directories to each OS and configure permissions accordingly. If you need help organizing the files or creating partitions, let me know!

Set up OS X using the installer to create a 60GB drive on your chosen SSD. Install OS X onto that drive. Start Ubuntu Insider and select the available space as the installation area. Allow the process to complete. Done.
