You can use the Corsair XTM50 paste with your Ryzen 5 3600 and Wraith Stealth Cooler. Apply a small amount, about the size of a pea, and it should help. Thermal paste isn’t necessary if you don’t do heavy gaming or video editing.

For new installations, pre-applied paste works well and meets her requirements. Thermal paste is definitely worth using in any scenario.

It's sufficient for a grain of rice in size. Yes. Thermal paste aids in smoothing out the irregularities of the integrated heat spreader. If pre-applied thermal paste exists on the cooler, it's not necessary to reapply it.
