Hi
Downloading a song, playlist, album, or podcast is similar to using iTunes, but you'll have a local copy rather than a direct link. Yes, you'll get a copy on your device just like in iTunes.

Downloading in Spotify doesn't guarantee you receive a true MP3 file and keep it forever. With Spotify Premium, you can save the song directly to the app for offline listening, but losing this feature means uninstalling or removing your Premium subscription.

It depends on how the playlist is set up; if the song stays in the playlist, it will remain accessible.

I didn't quite grasp your point. With premium, you can download a song and won't need an internet connection to listen. If you cancel premium, you'll lose the ability to listen without using the internet.

the question is about whether the track is stored as a file similar to iTunes, and whether Apple Music provides such an option.

I don't agree with that.
iTunes charges per track.
Apple Music functions as a platform, similar to Spotify.

As mentioned before, Spotify and similar platforms allow you to "download" a track only when you're connected to the internet. However, you can listen to this song exclusively through Spotify itself, provided you have the necessary license (which is maintained as long as you remain a subscriber).
You have two choices to obtain your music in MP3.FLAC/WAV format:
purchase the song or album.
record it using alternative methods while it's playing.
