Is it safe to overclock your FX 8350 with the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 r5 motherboard?
Thanks for the help!
P.S. I'm using a Corsair H100i liquid cooler for the CPU.

Your motherboard certainly isn't an ROG series, but it's pretty decent and overclocking should be fine. Your 8-pin power connector can supply more than enough power, and 8+2 power phases are pretty good. Those CPUs are designed to be overclocked and I see no reason not to.
Happy Overclocking!

Do you believe you can achieve a stable overclocking, another question? Is the motherboard DDR3 or DDR4?

What about achieving a steady overclock? One more thing—does this motherboard support DDR3 or DDR4? It really depends on the CPU and the voltage you plan to use.
