s about overclocking.
Hi everyone. I just wanted to check if everyone is comfortable with my overclocked CPU setup. My question is that occasionally (very rarely) my PC won’t start properly—fans spin, then it restarts and goes to BIOS. After that, a message appears asking me to think about a "regular" configuration, which I assume means setting the CPU frequency back down. I’ve run several tests for hours using OC tools and monitoring core temperature; everything looks normal. I’m curious if this is typical or if there’s anything else I should do. Thanks!
Here are my specs:
Pc case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro with stock fans.
CPU: Intel Core i5 6600K @3.5GHz (OC @4.4GHz) with EVO Hyper Cooling 212.
GPU: GTX 970 4GB ASUS Turbo.
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170 HDP3 CF.
PSU: 650W smart bronze.
Processor Base Frequency 3.5 GHz
Max Turbo Frequency 3.9 GHz
These are the specifications from Intel: http://ark.intel.com/products/88191/Inte...Hz?q=6600K
If you attempt to increase your CPU clock beyond 3.9 GHz, you may need more knowledge about adjusting various voltages and frequencies for both the CPU and RAM to achieve optimal performance.
Could you please post and RAM specs and what method of overclock you are using ?

Could you kindly share the RAM specifications and the overclocking method you're employing?
My setup uses G.skill rip jaws series v 8G (2x4) DDR4.
I'm not entirely confident, but I accessed the BIOS and adjusted the advanced frequency settings to boost the GHz. The voltage is set to auto, typically ranging from 1.20 to 1.22.
