Kirrahe stands in for Thane's role. You avoid speaking to him so he doesn't discover you're on the Citadel, preventing any assistance. It's been several years since I last played through a session where I kept Thane alive, though I think he might have mentioned he'd help if he'd known.

Multi-player remains active. It feels quite unstable lately. I'm ready to play—I'm completely unbeatable—but I can't harm opponents or engage with fallen teammates.

I believe I grasp your perspective now. I've been looking into the latest game and their decisions. It seems they messed up the ending so badly that you can't play in the same galaxy anymore without three completely different games based on your choices. They probably had to create an entirely new game just to include some familiar elements. That’s a really poor approach, as it shows they weren’t committed enough to their fans—making a whole new game almost from scratch would have been better. If they had planned properly, they could have kept the story consistent across different outcomes. Instead, they decided we aren’t valuable enough and just made something else.

They admitted there was no escape from the situation, so they went around the whole mess. I don’t like EA anymore, and BioWare’s games I enjoyed are gone. I really enjoyed the ME Universe and ME1—it was amazing. The storytelling and style left me amazed. Hope they do well with Andromeda next.
