I really don't understand your point about what you meant by a playful "not true." I could describe the various possibilities for the galaxy and Shepherd, but that would spoil things. I believe some were seeking clearer, black-and-white contrasts between endings, such as Shepard's death versus survival. However, the ME3 ending feels more refined and rewarding, especially when you grasp the concepts involved.
