I recently began overclocking my GPU and was interested in how much I could push without seeing artifacts on the screen. The overclock was performed by M-SI Afterburner. I managed to increase the core clock by 150 MHz and the memory clock to 605 MHz. The GPU temperature reached a maximum of 69°C after running 3DMark Firestike Ultra, and when testing the game at ultra settings, it stayed at 87°C. What are your thoughts on these figures? Are they reasonable or do they seem too high or too low for sustained performance? I’m considering replacing my PSU but am unsure which model to choose. Stay quiet! BN252 Dark Power Pro 11 750W or Seasonic SS-750XP2 Snow Silent 750W 80+ Platinum? Which one would you prefer, regardless of price? I definitely suggest a custom fan program. The auto-program from afterburner works too poorly. Another option is setting the fan speed to 80% while gaming.
87c isn't particularly impressive. Have you already set up a custom fan program?
