Hello, your situation involves a few challenges. The USB drive used for the original Windows installation had an 8.1 ISO, and your current key is for 8.1 but you're using Windows 10. You're wondering if it's possible to use the 8.1 key with a Windows 10 ISO and whether Microsoft offers such a solution.

Don't rely solely on my explanation, since I don’t want to take responsibility if this doesn’t work out. I found information suggesting that with Windows 8.1 you might still receive a free upgrade to Windows 10 by installing it for assistive technology users and then turning off the settings. However, this could change, so it might not be accurate right now.

You may recall the previous key used for upgrading to Windows 10 and input it during the new installation. If not, you can access a Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's site, which generates Windows 10 installation media such as DVDs or USB drives.

Just to clarify for those who are curious, I've completed it and it functions properly.
