s about Firestrike scoring
I marked my setup clearly, but I’m unsure if my results were strong. Several players with better scores achieved the same configuration. My rig includes an FX 6300 CPU, an R9 280 ASUS GPU (the component I’m most concerned about), 8GB Corsair RAM, and no SSD yet. My score came in around 5725. Was this performance solid or could it be improved? If anyone has a similar build, what scores did they achieve?
Using an SSD speeds up loading of textures and shaders, reducing frame drops most of the time. This might point to CPU-intensive sections in games or benchmarks that strain your processor due to weaker single-thread performance on AMD chips. Depending on your motherboard or cooler, you may benefit from some optimization adjustments.
That's what I initially believed, though they often match in speed. I usually skip the ones with oc when comparing. Appreciate the assistance!
It doesn't boost speed but reveals the hidden performance your components could achieve. Your system struggles when multiple tasks access data simultaneously, as a HDD limits reading speed and creates a bottleneck. Everyone should consider switching to an SSD for better results.
I haven't executed it lately, though I ran it in January. http://www.3dmark.com/fs/1559455
