You've recently installed a 1GB fiber connection, but you're experiencing packet loss during gaming. You've checked all possible fixes and replaced components, yet issues persist. Others in your area with the same setup report no similar problems, which is puzzling. You're concerned about upload speed and want to avoid switching back.

It's a bit of a trick question. Are you asking about the connection method itself, or something else entirely?

Do you have a different computer available for testing, especially if both are experiencing packet loss? Have you tried another Ethernet cable?

I checked my PC, PS4, and Xbox One using Ethernet cables on my machine. I tried three different ones. I’ve done everything possible. If you need, I can try forms as a backup. I’m hoping to get my ISP to check the connection or possibly improve the fiber service.

Remember this advice early: to avoid being asked similar questions later, clearly state your attempts and include all important information right from the start.

I understand you had a question and wanted clarification. I’ll make sure to explain myself more clearly in the future. I realize many who ask questions may not be familiar with computers, and I’m not one of them. Thank you for your patience and for helping me improve.
