The "Zoom Sensitivity" setting adjusts how responsive the game is to your mouse movements. It works differently depending on the weapon and mode you're using—like when you're aiming with a rifle versus a handgun. Setting it to the default might not match the sensitivity you get with certain weapons, which can affect precision and feel. Check the specific weapon settings or consult the manual for more details.

It describes the sensitivity adjustment in relation to your typical hearing range. For example, a value of 1.5 means it's 1.5 times your usual sensitivity. If your normal sensitivity is 1.1, then increasing the zoom setting to 1.5 results in a zoomed-in sensitivity of 1.65. This applies to users who adjust their sensitivity settings differently than standard rifle players.

However, I've configured it at 1, yet the AWP with the sensitivity setting runs significantly more slowly.

It performs the task automatically. You'll observe it runs quicker at the initial zoom than later. By default, the first zoom is 2.25 times slower than your regular speed, and the second is 9 times slower. The zoom_sensitivity_ratio_mouse command adjusts this sensitivity based on your zoom level, letting you change the ratio as needed—for example, if your normal setting is 1.2, switching it to 0.8 results in a new multiplier of 0.96, which is then divided by either 2.25 or 9 depending on the current zoom. Hope this clarifies things!
