Hello, your questions are clear. Zoom sensitivity refers to how much the magnification changes with your regular aiming setting—typically a percentage. A value of 1 means it matches your standard sensitivity exactly. Keeping it at 1 helps build muscle memory because it maintains consistency. You might adjust it if you need more precision or feel it’s affecting your performance. Walking or ducking can improve accuracy and recoil control by stabilizing your aim and reducing movement effects.

The standard setting stays the same unless you experience discomfort during extended use. Ducking boosts early accuracy, but reduces your visibility to foes.

1. Affirmative.
2. Certain individuals reduce it when they play at high sensitivity; I recommend beginning with low sensitivity first. It's simpler that way than jumping to high then lowering.
3. Yes, crouching is effective. The recoil is tighter, but it remains common. Walking is better than running, though not as intense as crouching.

It's not necessary to move during shooting, so that detail doesn't matter.

It doesn't imply it shouldn't be discussed.

Also, reduce your sensitivity. Even if you believe you already have a low sensitivity.

One hundred percent. Going from 1800 DPI and an in-game sensitivity of 3.5 to 450 DPI (the lowest my mouse can go) and in-game sens of 3 has helped me so much. And I do believe a scoped sensitivity of 1 is best, flicking to heads with an AK and AWP become the same motion then. There's a lot more to learn about CS:GO than crouching and scoped sensitivity though, watch some decent CS:GO YouTubers, maybe some Competitive matches from the Pros but most importantly, play them yourself.

I purchased CS:GO during a Steam discount. Tried it a few times and quit in frustration both times. 10/10 would quit again. Importantly, understand the weapon recoil patterns (that’s essentially all I’ve picked up from guides).

It's also a good idea to practice with the standard zoom settings if you're just starting out.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I usually don't play CS:GO on my PC, I prefer TF2. Still, CS:GO looks pretty good.
