1. How do I increase my character's level?
2. Are there pre-made weapons or should I purchase new ones at the start of each round?
3. What are the key features of crates and keys?

1. There is no "levelling up". Welcome to CS - a game that is completely based on skill. You can do Competitive Match Making that after 10 wins will give you a rank based on your performance and will put you up against others of similar skill. 2. There are no "loadouts" per se. Certain weapons may use the same gun slot and you can equip them in those (the M4A1-S & the M4A4 for example take up the same slot). If you survive the round without dying you'll start the next with the same weapons you ended the last with. **it's worth nothing to learn how the in game economy works, especially "eco" rounds. 3. Twice a week the item drop cooldown will reset which means the more you play you won't necessarily have an increased chance of drops after "X" amount of hours played. The drops may be gun skins or cases: Skins may be sold/purchased on the marketplace and they drop with different qualities Cases may also drop and can either be sold or unlocked by keys that you can purchase from Valve. In my opinion if you have a skin that you REALLY like (eg. Case Hardened Ak-47) it's more economical to just purchase the skin instead of spending money to open cases and leaving it up to chance. That's a rough overview, if you have any broader questions, feel free to PM me or ask.

If you're aiming for higher ranks, you must win three to seven competitive matches consecutively (based on personal observations).
At the start of each round, you purchase weapons. You invest funds into the valve, hoping to obtain a knife worth roughly $100 to $400, though it's possible it might not materialize.

Begin with vanilla in every round, then advance as time passes by purchasing additional weapons.
