s about computer temperature and CPU performance
Hello! I've been exploring ways to boost my computer's performance through overclocking, but I still have some queries before proceeding.
1. Could you share the recommended safe core and socket temperatures for the AMD FX-8350?
2. What are the current readings from HWMonitor for TMPIN 0, 1, 2, and the CPU package temperature? What are the ideal ranges for each?
3. I recently purchased a liquid cooler and noticed my TMPIN dropped by around 10 degrees, while other temperatures remained stable during Prime 95. Is this typical?

Additionally, I have three fans and a hard drive which I assumed wouldn't significantly impact performance. I'm also planning to switch to a PNY OC GTX 1060 soon.

Details: PC Specifications
1. My estimate (and it's just a guess since no two processors are identical) is at least 4.5 GHz safely, assuming a decent cooler.
2. I believe Tmpin0 represents the processor core, Tmpin1 is the NB, and Tmpin2 is uncertain—Gigabyte couldn't provide an exact answer, but my reasoning points to VRM temperature. When I put a fan on it, it dropped by 20°C with noticeable OC improvement.
Check my notes: I'm using the same MB with my FX 6350, which matches your TDP. The cooler is a CM Nepton 140XL.
P.S.
Use AMD Overdrive instead of an HW monitor.
