Hi, I'm checking if it's possible to overclock my RAM and processor. These are my current specs: Ryzen 3 2200G, MSI B450 Mortar, HyperX 2666M DDR4, Gigabyte RX570 4GB DDR5, EVGA 450W. I'm wondering what frequency I should set for the RAM (2666MHz) and if my PSU can support it. TY

I strongly recommend choosing a 550w PSU with good quality. A 450w might suffice in some cases, but considering the brand and age, I wouldn't suggest it.

Regarding your query: Yes, you can overclock your CPU, RAM, and GPU.
Whether this is wise depends on your personal judgment.
Also, you currently have only one stick of RAM. For Ryzen processors, this isn't ideal. Is it 8GB? Either way, you should opt for a dual 8GB kit with high-speed RAM (3000mhz). Upgrading to faster RAM will significantly improve FPS performance. Having just one stick limits your potential by about 15%. Switching to 3000mhz RAM could add another 10-15% boost. All this without overclocking anything else.

ohh thanks for asking, but i'm curious about ways to get your ram to run at its true speed. right now it's showing 1333mhz in cpu-z, and i want to push it up to 2666mhz. can i upgrade to a hyperx 2666mhz 8gb stick and connect it to the other dimm slots? that would give me 16gb total, all running at 2666mhz each. also, if i do that setup, will it enable dual channel mode? tty
