Hi Mate,
I believe it doesn’t automatically overclock your CPU. There’s a setting on the device that lets you manually adjust its speed without needing to change the clock yourself. It’s a gentle boost.
In my case, I have an MSI Krait 7170a gaming version with three chips, which can push an i7 6700K from 4.2MHz to 4.4MHz. You just need to enter BIOS to turn it on, though it’s usually disabled by default.
It’s not ideal since it often applies more voltage than necessary.
The best approach is to use CPU-Z to see your current performance. If it matches the standard speeds, you’re in good shape and don’t need further changes.
Let me know how it goes.

The best approach is to use CPU-Z to see your current performance. If it’s running at stock speeds, you’re in the clear and don’t need further changes.
