I enjoyed Ark Survival Evolved and saw Ascended on Steam. I’m unsure if it’s an updated version with improved graphics or a different game altogether. I noticed it mentioned you can build a tribe, but I think Evolved also allowed that. I only play single-player games, so I was wondering if building a tribe is possible there. It would be great to recruit NPCs like in Fallout 4. I’m really interested in buying it, but if it’s just a graphics remake of Evolved, I’d prefer not to go through all the grinding again.

Uncertain about creating groups in solo play. However, it relies on Unreal Engine 5 and requires a powerful computer to function. Numerous issues and crashes have been documented. Being in early access often serves as justification for subpar performance.

I've reviewed what's available online and seems like it's just an updated version of Evolved with improved visuals and some quality enhancements. Probably not worth trying. I was expecting something different.
