ryzen5 2600x and gtx 1070 low fps
Hello, I just assembled a new PC. The specs are: CPU - Ryzen 5 2600X, GPU - GTX 1070 GX1, RAM - 8GB DDR4, SSD speed 3200MHz, DDR4 8GB, PCIe 4.0, PSU 550W Corsair V550. Motherboard is ASRock B450M Steel Legend. The HDD is a 1TB Barracuda drive. My main concern is low frame rates in games like CSGO or GTA V. In CSGO I see around 170 FPS, while in GTA V it's about 90 at full settings. All games run at maximum settings. An SSD will be added soon. Other components are installed, and I’m starting to build now. Is the issue related to the HDD or something else? Currently I’m using only 8GB RAM. Maybe it’s because of the RAM. Another 8GB is coming later, but I’m not sure about the timing. Could you help me figure out whether the problem is with the RAM or the HDD? Also, in CSGO CPU load is around 20%, GPU around 45%, and in GTAV CPU is 25% and GPU 18%. Thanks for your help! I apologize for my English.
All settings are optimized for maximum performance at 1080p, delivering approximately 50 to 60 frames per second.
I managed to hit around 70 or higher with my i5 4590s rx580 and 8GB RAM without exceeding the limits.
Absolutely, I understand why you're looking for a solution. Let's tackle this together.
However, achieving 90FPS on ultra is excellent—no need to be concerned about it.
Let me review this later, but I've already looked it over. On GTA 5 online with 5-12 GPU usage? There are ways to boost it if needed.
