I've attempted all possible solutions. The twist and slide remain unchanged. It's firmly in place.

I've tried this before but won't suggest it. It works with a thin, non-sharp knife to gently open the space between CPU and heatsink. Others recommend floss or thin string for similar results. Let's see what others think.

All screws were removed, but the issue lies with the thermal paste securing it.

The CPU should be removed directly from the socket connected to the cooler, possibly even without reaching the retention arm. This should simplify the process. Be aware that this area is risky—handle it with care.
