I initially intended to stick with Windows 7 after upgrading to Ryzen, but encountered an NVMe storage and past compatibility challenges. I opted for Windows 10 instead. While still considering a 7, I stumbled upon an article discussing enhancements in the Windows 10 scheduler, particularly how it distributes threads more evenly—leveraging the increased core and thread count of Ryzen processors rather than depending solely on a single core. My inquiry is twofold: should I follow the guidance in that link, or is it now part of chipset drivers or Windows updates? Additionally, I’m searching for another resource similar to that piece, focusing on Ryzen’s performance boosts and multi-threaded efficiency. Could you share a relevant source or direction? Thanks ahead!

Just set the newest chipset driver, Windows 10 updates, and BIOS, and you won’t need any further changes. This comment is outdated and hasn’t been useful in two years.
