Considering an AMD upgrade means you might need to replace memory if it doesn't match the new GPU requirements. Your current setup (7700k, 1080Ti, 32GB @ 3000MHz) should work with the next-gen line if it aligns properly.

Ryzen 3k performs optimally at 3600mhz. 3000mhz is acceptable but won’t deliver peak performance.

3000MHz is fine, aim for OC to 3200MHz or above if you can, and for maximum performance, tighten the timing—Ryzen thrives with quick dual-channel memory.

32GB + Cl 15 on Ryzen.... Ehh. Run it geardown mode disabled if it even posts up xmp.
