For Curve Optimizer undervolting, B650/E is the best choice (X670/E isn’t worth it in ITX). Based on this, there are essentially five viable options. The page highlights that the $200 B650I Lightning Wifi meets your I/O needs, so there’s no need to invest further. The Asrock B650E PG-ITX Wifi is another option, though it lacks BIOS flashback support compared to the B650/X670 lineup.
I’m looking at the Dan H2O review with 7600x and 4070 Super specs. Many suggest the ASRock B650I and ASUS B650E options.
What price range are you aiming for? The asrock B650I lightning wifi stands out if you prefer not to go with pcie 5. Consider the 7500f instead of the 7600x—it only costs $124. New AMD Ryzen 5 7500F is a solid choice, 3.7GHz, 6 cores, 12 threads, and it fits AM5 without a cooler. You can find it on AliExpress.
I’ve already bought most of the parts and just need the motherboard to complete the build. I think when PCIe 5 becomes common, I’d be planning another upgrade, so it’s not a big deal right now. From what I found online, ASRock looks like the top choice and is reasonably priced at £209 in the UK. The ASUS B650E is around £290, while the ASRock B650E costs £267. I also checked the MSI Edge for £199, but there are many user complaints about it.
