Running a Ryzen 3400G with 16GB RAM offers solid performance for most tasks, but upgrading to 32GB would provide more memory for smoother multitasking and better gaming experiences. The difference in clock speeds (3200mhz vs 3600mhz) is minimal for everyday use, so the RAM upgrade might be more impactful than the CPU speed change.
Regular RAM isn't VRAM, and latency refers to the delay in data transfer between components.
I own a 3200MHz CL16 with 16GB RAM and two 3600MHz CL16 units using Trident Z Neo.
The APU can utilize two gigabytes of VRAM. The variation will be minimal, though reaching these speeds will pose a challenge. Don't anticipate results beyond 2933, as exceeding that would require an IMC overclock.
It relies on 2 units of VRAM, and once they're exhausted, it begins transferring data to regular RAM.
