The motherboard is Asus TUF GT501. I’ve been running this configuration for roughly a month without any major problems. I’ll start from the first time I encountered an issue, so stay with me—my English isn’t perfect, but I’m trying to be clear. I’m unsure about the sequence of the blue screen errors, but here’s what happened:
- Mid-game crashes in Call of Duty: Cold War Zombies.
- A blue screen appeared after a crash, followed by another after restarting BIOS.
- I switched RAM and swapped CPU tracks as per the manual.
- After a reboot, I tried Windows 10 on a USB drive but kept getting crashes.
- I tested with other users’ RAM sticks, but they worked fine in their systems.
- Running OCCT, Prime95, and hwinfo showed normal temperatures and no overheating.
- Eventually, I installed a new motherboard and updated drivers, which resolved the issues.
- Now I’m playing Cold War Zombies without problems on my new 3700X with OC RAM.

I upgraded both the older and newer motherboards to the most recent release.
The F4-3600C16D-32GTZN model (without C) offers superior memory ICs. It uses Samsung B-die components, providing maximum flexibility and quick adjustments. Though slightly pricier, you can reduce expenses by omitting RGB features and opting for a B-die without it to maintain cost efficiency.
I own a collection of 4266mhz G.Skills. There isn't one setup that automatically posts and runs them via XMP activation. Memory kits rated so high typically perform best at lower frequencies, but you'll need assistance configuring them. For AMD overclocking, the first tip is to reduce the number of sticks, then focus on optimization. The second tip suggests adding more memory (in GB) which can stress the controller, possibly requiring some manual adjustments. The third point involves identifying top-performing kits and tackling the crashes at standard speeds (default 2133mhz). We should investigate that issue further.
