Ryzen 9 5900X paired with ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 Idol reaches temperatures above 60°C.
I purchased this cooler thinking it would help my CPU stay cooler, but now the one inside the idol is above 60°C. Is this normal for my CPU or is there an issue? My room temperature is 32°C and I’m in Germany. If this information is useful, the second picture shows how airflow works in my PC case. I’ve adjusted the AIO to bring air from outside into the case.
The temperature remains at 60°C even when the load is applied, as it's only on my desktop.
What's the situation? I can't view any mesh panels or openings from that angle.
Don't require a 5900X, my numbers are actually quite low. 58°C was the lowest temperature recorded, which is normal. My 2700X usually reaches around 55°C during games with a 280mm AIO in a fairly tight setup. Just to be sure about cooling basics outside of airflow, have you used thermal paste?
Reviewing your mount and thermal paste setup. Is the pump running at full capacity? From a technical standpoint, even with suboptimal airflow from the top via the radiator, the CPU shouldn’t be experiencing issues. Concentrating there would be unhelpful.
Adjusted the AIO fan direction to allow airflow and measure temperatures.
