At half capacity, I observe the coolant inside my cooling system, a Corsair 115i platinum, sitting at 29 °C while my CPU Ryzen 9 3950 reaches 72 °C. The room temperature is around 21.5 °C. This seems typical? Other hardware details MSI PRESTIGE X570 CREATION motherboard, Corsair Obsidian Series 750D ATX full tower, case, Corsair 115i platinum, Ryzen 9 3950 VENGEANCE® LPX with 64GB DDR4 RAM at 3600MHz. The setup includes four intake fans, two large and two small, plus three rear and one top fan on the radiator.

The CPU would reach temperatures well above 72°C without the cooling system, but the water helps dissipate heat and maintain control. If the water weren't much cooler, the CPU would have trouble managing the heat. During startup, it stays cooler even under load before gradually warming up as the cooling process works. Once stabilized, maintaining a low temperature is key for efficient heat transfer.
