Ryzen 9 3900XT Thoughts ?
Ryzen 9 3900XT Thoughts ?
They cost about 6% more for a performance boost under roughly 6% improvement. The decision depends on your priorities. If I wanted the 3900X(T) over the 5900X, I’d choose the 3900XT.
Thank you for the answer ! I can wait for the 5900X, I knew they were releasing new CG but didn't knew for CPU. So I could wait to see the 5900X release which is gonna be on November 9th if I'm not wrong.
I’d hold off on the 5000 series even if you don’t secure it at 3000, hoping the price will fall after launch to help you save a few dollars.
Ryzen 3900XT is EXACTLY the same as the 3900X, but with +0.1GHz. The silicon fabrication process for Ryzen has matured a bit since release, so the CPU may also use a little less voltage / power to achieve the same frequency, etc. Ryzen 3900X has been on sale for as low as $390, but average is $420. Ryzen 3900 XT are going for ~$470 right now. $50 more (or even $80) more for an extra.... +0.1 GHz? and maybe 0.1V ~ 0.2V less on the CPU Core Voltage? Not really worth it. And we are just counting down the DAYS for Ryzen 5000 series, too ...
For the 3900xt it's a bit pricey, but the 3800xt is roughly 30 yen higher than the 3700x and 11 yen more than the 3800x—still manageable if you prioritize performance and plan to upgrade to an AMD Ryzen 5 and DDR5 later. The 3600xt costs 20 yen more than the standard 3600, which isn't too bad. Overall, most of these models offer similar performance; your choice depends on your games and resolution. For you, the 5900x seems like a better option compared to others. Unlike the 5800x, the 5900x is actually reasonably priced at just 50 yen more for an 8-core processor—great value!
