Purchased the 7500f around three months ago and noticed some unusual behavior. Initially, the system would occasionally freeze for a brief moment when loading, but it never froze during idle or simple tasks. Secondly, in sleep mode, it would freeze for about 10 seconds upon waking, sometimes becoming responsive again or freezing completely afterward. These occurrences are not very frequent, so they aren’t causing major disruptions, though I remain worried about the CPU’s condition. I’m certain I haven’t overclocked or undervolted the CPU in BIOS, though I’m unsure whether PBO is enabled or not. It could be that these freezes are linked to increased clock speeds. According to the 7500f specifications, the maximum clock speed should be around 5 GHz.

single channel may cause lag spikes because you're drawing power from only one side of the channel. other factors need checking, like ensuring your NVMe has a heatsink for better longevity. your chip should stay cool—MSI motherboards might be overclocking your CPU, which shouldn't exceed 1.2V on average. this points to a probable PBO or MSI variant issue. my ASUS board behaved similarly with a 5900X; I increased it to 1.5V but it should have been around 1.4V. also, the PSU seems underpowered and may fail eventually.
I understand that dual channel is superior, I purchased one stick with the hope of buying another later when I save up. Still, it's tough to accept that the reason for system freezes might be limited RAM in single channel mode.
Avoid mixing RAM at all times, but use a kit since that's its intended purpose. Purchasing even one identical stick of RAM offers no assurance it will function properly and might even cause instability. Windows 11 is prone to issues with single stick memory.
Usually when a system freezes, I look at XMP overclocks, but since both my CPU and RAM are rated for DDR5-5200 they should work fine at 5200MT/s. I’m aware I’m still on Windows 10 and haven’t heard about any issues with one stick in Windows 11. You might try going back to JEDEC 4800MT/s to check if it helps.
Regarding the 6625MHz maximum frequency, some monitoring tools are too optimistic and don’t always show the real processor speed. Try opening a few more applications to see if they all confirm 6625MHz. Even if they do, I’m not convinced. I use Aida64.
I believe it's a software issue that doesn't reflect actual conditions.
