I've faced this problem for a long time, so I checked some discussions and they recommended turning off the CPU's C state. I did that and the PC stopped freezing for about five months. Now it's working again, though it still freezes completely sometimes—can't click or interact with programs. I disabled the quiet and cool settings, but nothing has changed. I have a Ryzen 7 5800x with 32GB RAM, two SSDs, a GTX 970 GPU, 750W PSU, and Windows 11 Pro. Any advice?

Have you looked for BIOS updates from Gigabyte for your board? Have you experimented with resetting BIOS settings instead of adjusting them manually? If you reset to defaults and everything is up to date, try modifying one change at a time. If the problem continues, simply revert the change and test another option. Also, could you clarify what triggers the freeze? I own a 5900x that has run smoothly since launch, but after installing the latest Conan Exiles update, my PC occasionally freezes. I can restart via Windows key, but it seems the issue lies with the game, not my system. You might want to check Event Viewer for freeze reports and search error codes online to identify the problem.

Have you explored a different GPU? The fact that the sound is still working suggests the GPU might be overheating.
