I just got a Ryzen 7 5800x and paired it with a Radeon 6750 XT on COD—it’s hitting the GPU limits. I’m trying to squeeze more performance from the CPU, but it’s still functional. Any tips? Thanks ahead!
You can adjust configurations to improve performance. However, most systems have maximum GPUs and underutilized CPUs. Checking CPU usage might show 40% overall, but examining individual cores reveals higher utilization—often just a few cores at 100%, since many games don't distribute their workload evenly across the processor.
These components were released around the same time and had no prior issues. I tested a 3090 with a 5800x at 3440x1440 for two years. How did you reach this conclusion? The 6750xt shouldn't cause problems with a capable Zen3 chip. Intel PresentMon and its overlay will display Frametime and GPU Busy together in one graph. If large areas show GPU Busy dropping below the Frametime line, it may indicate a GPU limitation.
