Hey there! Your setup sounds solid—upgrading to a Ryzen 7 5700X3D is a great move. The performance numbers you're seeing are typical for this model, especially under stress tests. The power readings you mentioned align with what you'd expect, and the software tools you used are reliable. It's normal to see peaks around 83°C, 3.9GHz, and 57W during intense workloads. Just keep an eye on temperatures during long sessions to maintain stability.

It's a low-power CPU that consumes minimal energy while delivering excellent performance.

Execute Cinebench R23 while keeping Ryzen Master active. Typically, Ryzen Master displays total power consumption, whereas other tools only show core power usage.

It seems to operate smoothly, but it puzzled me about the low power output.

the system shows a tdp of 105w... it seems there are two options here—either the PC was optimized for efficiency, either intentionally or unintentionally, or there might be faulty or incorrect monitoring tools in use. I strongly suggest removing Ryzen Master and performing a complete BIOS reset.

To fully reset your BIOS, load the default settings. You don’t need to apply any specific curve unless you want to adjust it later.

well, technically, yes... but you need to uninstall Ryzen Master beforehand... Don't get me wrong PBO -30 isnt a bad thing at all, and if you're *really* getting the scores you should get you maybe don't need to do anything, but this low power consumption is definitely *not* normal... even the temps suggest its using a lot more power... 71C is absolutely fine... but not for "75w"... it should be much lower. hence i suspect a conflict with Ryzen Master (its a buggy app with known reoccurring issues) and therefore suggest to uninstall it anyways because longterm that's probably better. for record my 5800x3D uses like 122w max and tops out at like 76C during cinebench (with PBO)

Deleted Ryzen Master, reset BIOS and observed consistent outcomes. Using HWiNFO revealed Power Reporting Deviation near 80% during full load, regardless of PBO2 settings. It seems the motherboard might be underreporting the actual power usage by the CPU.

Yeah, the adjustment seems unusual... it should be close to 100% plus or minus a few points. Here’s the proper way to reset the BIOS: turn off the PC, disconnect it from power completely, remove the CMOS battery for about 30 minutes, then press the power button for 30 seconds to discharge any remaining charge, after that put the battery back in and power it on. If this doesn’t help, you might need a new BIOS or possibly a different motherboard. If everything seems fine otherwise, there’s just this odd feeling about what’s happening with the system.
