Consider the memory capacity carefully. Start with two identical RAM sticks from the same manufacturer, inserting them into slots A2 and B2.

I’d verify the board maker’s compatibility chart to confirm this RAM works with the 5700X. It could fit your older processor, though not the 5700X itself. A BIOS upgrade might also be necessary. Personally, I wouldn’t install a 5000-series chip on a B450, but that’s just my opinion.

No, not all possible solutions were Ram-related.

bios is currently updated, but I attempted to use a different RAM setup that worked before, though it didn’t. Now I’m considering purchasing a new motherboard since I can’t fix anything myself.

Occasionally reverting the BIOS can resolve issues. Recently, MSI made a mistake by taking Zen 2 support off a beta BIOS that was released with new boards and available online. Someone discovered the error and found a fix. You can find more info on Greg Salazar's YouTube channel. A board with Zen 2 failed to boot due to this change, but rolling back the BIOS resolved the problem.

Check the bios for "loading optimized defaults" and verify compatibility with all four sticks running at stock speeds.

The issue arises because placing the four sticks caused a *bip* sound from the motherboard speaker, triggering an automatic restart whenever more than one stick was connected.

It seems you're experiencing issues with your current setup. A fresh MOBO might be necessary for optimal performance.

No, I didn't adjust the memory while the device was running.
