Is this combination suitable for the 3800x? I previously had a 3700x, then upgraded to the 3800x during a sale, and now it seems I might need quicker RAM or a more efficient MOBO to match the performance. It’s possible I was wrong about the 3700x needing faster RAM as well.

It's not necessary for faster RAM, just a desire for it boosts performance. Both setups function well with faster memory, and all Ryzen chips run better with quicker RAM. I dislike the green PCB kit.

The frame rate would likely rise noticeably when switching from 3200 to 3600 frames per second.

Varies by game, but 3600 CL16 might boost FPS by as much as 10% over 3200 CL16

Sure, the MOBO supports 3600 MHz. However, some sources indicate that certain pages exclude 3600mhz from the available speeds.

I noticed the Tomahawk at 3600MHz performs similarly to the Gaming Plus on the same board.
