I thought upgrading the cooler would help, but I doubt it’ll significantly lower temps. I removed the original paste and used Arctic Silver MX4, which worked reasonably well. I also avoided running two monitoring tools at once, as that can cause fluctuations. Your advice is appreciated!

I've moved the heatsink back in place and added more effective thermal paste. Performance stays around 45-50°C idle and climbs to 80°C+ during games (like CS:GO, which can reach 82°C). No changes after using better compound. My P400A case has strong airflow—three front fans plus two silent wings for exhaust. I'm using Ryzen Master but running MSI Afterburner in-game for the OSD.
