Hello! I noticed your Ryzen 7 1700 has a memory controller issue. It’s unclear how this happened, but you’re planning to send it in for repair. Since you’re limited to 200 euros, you might want to consider upgrading to a more affordable CPU like the GTX 1060 with 6 GB VRAM or a similar budget model. Your current setup (GTX 1060, 16 GB, 3200 MHz) is decent but may not handle newer games well. A 2700 XT or 3600 XT could offer better performance without breaking the bank. Let me know your thoughts! Hope this helps and you find a good solution!

It varies by task, but generally I recommend the 3600 instead of the 2700X.

It varies based on your PC setup. 3600X shines for gaming. 2700X could outperform it in certain tasks. However, if you upgrade components and boost the clock speed on the 3600X, it might even surpass the 2700X in most cases.

The 3600 performs better than the 2700x in most scenarios unless they're heavily multi-threaded. It's a stronger choice too, unless the 3600 version comes at a similar or higher price—then skip it.

For general purposes I choose the 3600(X). Just in case you test Cinebench or something similar, the 2700X could edge out.

You can stream or use editing at 2700x resolution. It depends on your needs and equipment.

For streaming, a 1650 super or higher should work fine. Using nvec to move the task to the GPU’s hardware encoder is optional—3600 will still manage it well.

For certain reasons, 3600x offers a newer and improved experience thanks to Zen 2. The 2700x remains a solid choice with better RAM support, though its price differs. If you're not a content creator, go for 3600x at $50 less than the X model. Good luck!

Others have pointed out that the 3600X performs better across many tasks. It should also offer stronger memory support on devices running the Zen 2 CPU, unlike the 2700X which seems to cap around 3200 on most systems.

Performance at 1080p benefits the 3600 by 2-10% based on the game. 2700x performs better for multithreaded tasks and other workloads, though 3600 still holds an edge when memory is available. Zen generally prefers 3200MHz or higher, but 3600 works well on Zen 2 with optimized timings.
