Ryzen 7 1700x
Asus ROG Strix B350-F Gaming motherboard
GPU - XFX R9285 DD2gb (upgrading this)
Corsair CX 750 PSU
Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 2x8gb
Using Ryzen Master OC to attempt a slight overclock. I adjusted the CPU voltage to 1.3v and gradually increased it to 3.9 via Cinebench. Initial tests were normal, but during a stress test on Prime95 at 3.9, the system froze after about 20 minutes. It appeared fine, yet all functions became unresponsive. Is the voltage setting affecting stability? I’m new to overclocking and hoping for a stable 3.9. Any advice...

You can safely reach up to 1.4 volts on most Ryzen CPUs. Ensure your system runs cool, ideally under 80°C in a Prime 95 setup, and adjust the voltage to 1.35 or 1.325. If stability at 3.9V with 1.35V isn't achieved, consider increasing it to 1.4V but lower the clock speeds instead.

Use Ryzen Master to locate the appropriate setting, then apply it to the BIOS as well. I'm guessing this will work.

I haven't used Ryzen Master yet, so I don't know.
But you still have a lot of room for overclocking if you're running that powerful setup.
