It’s not throttling, just a lack of all cores reaching full speed. Most cores are at 4.4, while cores 1 and 2 hit 4.8. I’m also unsure if I can get a reliable baseline from others because of differences in cooling, cases, and airflow.

Normal performance is expected at 4.8 for single-core gains. Full core boost will be reduced. Key influences include the case, fans, and room temperature. The main concern is keeping your CPU below 85–90°C for extended periods.

It will slow down before it starts, often staying around 80°C, though some cores don’t reach the same temperature. It’s likely I made a mistake with the cooling setup. The paste I used seems to have been reapplied more than once, so that could be the issue.

Yes, they function as exhausts. You likely took out the CPU and D15 before reapplying paste. You can tighten the screws further if needed.

They're all the same type except for the exhaust in the rear. I removed the component from the D15 and didn't mention swapping a 140mm to a 120mm due to space constraints. I used the pressure-optimized Noctua 120mm model. I can't tighten them further by hand.
